No Man’s Sky won’t launch with multiplayer on Switch
No Man’s Sky is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 7th, but it won’t include multiplayer, at least at launch. That’s according to Eurogamer, who noticed that the game’s official listing on Nintendo’s website only includes single-player. Multiplayer came to the game on other platforms in 2018 after launching without it on PlayStation 4 in 2016. Hello Games stated that it will update the Switch version post-launch, but did not mention whether those updates will include multiplayer. Bandai Namco is distributing the physical version of the game on Switch.
